WLC 4402 DS port not working

DearNetpro,

I am doing wireless project. the WLC 4402 DS port (SFP) used with GLC-T module not working when connected to the switch. If i connect the DS port to the PC then the link LED comes up but i can not ping management IP address. Due to this problem i now using all the APs in autonomous mode not in lightweight.

Please any one help me what cound be the issue.

I already replaced the SFP module, L2 switch and cable.

Hi Arum,

Can you please confirm the port type on switch to which you are connecting your controller. It should be a gig interface on switch?

I too am having this problem and my switch port is a gig interface/auto. Why can't I ping the management interface of 4402. On the switch, I see the cdp neighbor with the ip address of my 4402 register but still cannot ping it. I can ping my laptop address on the same network as 4402 from the switch.
