WLC 5508 Down !!

Hi every one

before 2 days ago i wrote this Discussion :

the problem now , the WLC didn't be up ever !! and there is no Console cable view , the light of console interface didn't light up !!

and the ALM light stay on ( orange light ) and the SYS light sty blink with orange light !!

what your suggestion ?

Two days ago I recommended to contact TAC and organize for an RMA.

but i didn't do that because i had bought this Device as Used condition , and i am waiting it for 2 months ago to shipping to me! so your recommended not helping me !

Your device is dead due to a hardware failure and there is nothing you can do to resolve that.  You need to concentrate on replacing it.

 

Perhaps you should contact whoever sold it to you.

The console interface doesn't have a light. But the orange LED doesn't sound nice and if you really don't get any output on the serial console interface (you did use a serial cable attached to a serial port on the pc) it's probably broken hardware or flash memory.
