WLC 5520 - Gateway need to be on service port subnet - HA not able to configure it

I am not able add the route towards management port 

we have two port

1) service port 

2) management port 

Our communication via management port , but i could not add the route towards that port , the error as below 

The error as below 

Gateway need to be on service port subnet

IP as below 

Mgmt port :- 172.16.8x.x /25

Service port is :- 172.16.8x.x / 24

Hi

 Looks like you did not choose a good network addressing. You are using the same network with different mask.

 /25 goes from .1 up to 126 and from .129 up to 254 whilst /24  goes from .1 up to 254.

 Try to use two /25 or different network like 172 and 10 or 192.

Hi thank you for your response. but the issue not due to of Ip address . Other issues. 

even i changed the ip address . but issue remain same .

Service port IP and the management port IP cannot be from from the subnet. Because of your selection of mask, there is a overlap. That's why you get the error message.

   service port not allowed even ip subnet is different. Now i have isolated that . looking for N+1 redundancy in WLC. 5520 . 

default going via management port
