WLC 5760 and AIR-LAP1131G-E-K9

Hi,

I am unable to join AP 1131 to new wireless controller 5760.

I found that they are not supported:

Maybe there is some workaround :-))

Hi Ivan,

No workaround if you only got a 5760 as WLC. Here is the supported AP list as of IOS-XE 3.6.0E code release.

If you have many of those AP, I would suggest to buy a 2504 WLC to manage those. Converting to Autonomous would be another option, but it will not work well with if your AP are in mix setup (WLC managed & autonomous)

Regarding 2504, there is a bundle offer (AIR-AP3702I-UX-WLC) when you buy 2x 3702I, you will get 2504 with 25AP license for almost free.
