WLC 9800 in cloud with public ip address

Hi Guys,

it could be possible in your opinion to use a WLC 0800-CL and ISE (for authentication) to allow AP to use internet to register on WLC as well as contact ISE for web authentication?

As well some controller should have also a private IP to allow a bunch of AP to use private ip address

Or maybe it could be better to use native cloud technology such as meraki?

If you want cloud managed APs, better go with meraki.

It’s possible with wlc also but Meraki would be a much much easier route.
