I have site that is quite small with only 20 access points on a 5505 controller. Any issues with upgrading this remote site 5508 to 8.1.102 and anchoring back to our central site 7.6.130 controller?
This would be a way for us to test the 8.1.102 code without rolling it out to any of our main site just yet..

You should not have any problem with this, unless some unknown bugs with this new code :)

Like Rasika mentioned, it is supported. You can get that info from the compatibility matrix:

Since v8.1 is very new, it would be hard to say how well it works.
