WLC and LWAP Setup Guide

Hi all,

I want to setup WLC and Light Weight AP with this method:

- APs get the IP address from the DHCP Server.

- WLC IP is not in the same subnet with the APs.

Do I need to configure controller ip on each of the APs?OR It can detect/join the controller automatically?

Hi Wan,

You have to configure DHCP option 43. That will enable your AP get WLC information when they getting DHCP IP.
