Is this tool still working? I used it several months ago and it worked great, but I just tried and it tells me that "file failed to upload to cisco". I was attempting to convert a tftp config from a 5508 to 5520.

I've the same problem.

"Failed to upload files to Cisco" message is usually seen when there is a pop-up blocker in browser blocking the file upload. Can you pls relax the pop-up blocker rules for the tool website https://cway.cisco.com/tools/WirelessConfigConverter and try. Try alternate browsers too.

that worked, popups blocked in Chrome. thanks Shankar!!!

Hello! When will this support the 3504?

Hi Sam,
Specifically what conversion are you looking for 3504?
07-28-2017 02:38 PM
AireOS -> AireOS - ideally supporting *from* 2504, 5508, WiSM2 to 3504.

Will test if there are any issues with the current conversion logic as-is.. Pls expect an update next week on this topic..

sorry for delayed update on this. 3504 migration should work fine.
12-19-2018 12:16 PM
So I assume you mean that if we are going from a 5508 to 3504 we should use option 3.
3. AireOS to AireOS(5520/8540) conversion: For folks looking to migrate from older AireOS platforms 2500/5500/7500/8500/WISM2/vWLC controllers to newer AireOS platforms 5520/8540.
