WLC Image - integrated AP images update ?

Dear all,

a customer use 8.0.140.0 on a WLC 5508, currently the 1240 APs get the 12.4(25e)JAM5 image, because of a Bug the APs will need 12.4(25e)JAP10 or JAP4.

Is it possible to Update the AP Images on the WLC? Does Cisco update the WLC Images with the new AP images all the time? I mean, is the AP image new/different if i download 8.0.140.0 again?

Raise a Cisco TAC Case and request for an Engineering Fix/Release with the updated 1240 image included.
