Hi All,
Is there any possibility to generate/export public certificates from a WLC 5508? Our Customer would like to backup his configuration through certificated based authentication instead of user based.
I believe there is no way to do that, but still i would like to ask the community
Regards
Richard

HI,
As per my knowledge: No you can't, By default, WLCs use a built-in self-signed SSL certificate.
If you want use 3rd party certificate then check this link:

is this still the case with 8.x? - looking to backup / export existing SSL certificate, i have a new one that is ready to be uploaded for the Guest wireless.
I'm guessing a config backup would do the job?
