Hi Team,

We have wlc's deployed in sso mode. Tried changing the hostname of the primary(active wlc) and it got changed. But the secondary wlc still reflecting the old host name.

Please suggest how to change the secondary (passive wlc) hostname.

What model of WLC, what version of software?

What does "show redundancy summary" show? (assuming AireOS)

The name should be synced from the primary automatically but you could try to do a switchover to secondary and back to primary.

Are you maybe confusing the hostname (config sysname) with the CLI prompt (config prompt)?  Did you change the one without changing the other?

What do you get from this?

grep include "prompt" "show run-config commands"
grep include "sysname" "show run-config commands"
