I am trying to upload the configuration file so that I have a backup copy. There is partial information at http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/4-2/configuration/guide/ccfig42/c42mfw.html#wp1063850. ; The information does not include what type of encryption would be used. I am confused that the file path is given by tftpboot/username whereas the Windows verision would have \ and not /. Using tftpd64 I put in C:\config and used File path of config/ in the WLC2106 GUI.

Usually you just use \ for the path and it will use the root tftp directory. This is the same for all controllers.
