WLC2500 (2504) issue

Hi!

I have an issue with my WLC2504 box. After some manipulation of the box :

- I cannot reset the config : it comes back to the config I had set in

- I cannot use the Console port any longer (?) 

- the only way to access the console mode I have, is through the AP 1832I console port...but the controller does not accept the administrator password. Dead!

The 2504 has a "Reset" button in front.  What happens if you press this down and apply power?

Simple : nothing!

I come back to the old config!

Well,

I would say you'll have to put a downtime notice.

I hope you have a backup of your config somewhere.

Step 1 plug you console cable in the WLC and make sure you are recording the session.
2 pull the plug or use the reset button
3 watch the output and once booted attempt to log in the WLC
4 if it's all crashed you will have information right there !

Have you attempted to update the code of your WLC ?

sorry the console port of the WLC does not work any longer....that's another challenge, especially since the reset button does not produce any effect : the controller remains on the config I sat up (can see it through the WEB interface)!
