WLSE 2.9 and switch discovery

I found this in the WLSE 2.9 documentation:

"Note Only routers and switches that have properly configured access points or bridges attached to them will be discovered"

How does this help me when doing rouge suppression? If a user attached a rough AP to an unregistered switch, can the AP still be suppressed?

Thanks,

Patrick

If the switch/router it not in the WLSE inventory with the appropriate attributes (i.e SNMP/Telnet access) the WLSE is not able to perform the algorithm to locate and disable the port on which this rogue is connected. However with an unregistered switch you still receive an Rogue AP detected alarm/event and optionally receive a trap (if configured)
