WLSE CDP Discover does not work

When I try to run a CDP discover the WLSE does not see my AP's. If I type a static IP for the WLSE to find it does.

I am running WLSE 2.7 and have HP 4000 switches. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Can you confirm that the network is a layer 2 network through the HP switches and that CDP is enabled on the AP's?

You should be able to see your cdp neighbours on the AP either via a telnet session or the browser.

If the WLSE doesn't have cdp visibilty of the AP's you will need to enter seed devices that support cdp or indeed enter the devices individually.
