I am running WLSE 2.9,200 APs managed. The WLSE continually schedules run now inventories on various APs. Several 100 Jobs per day are running. All WDS APs on the network are managed. I do not require the WLSE to trigger an inventory after configuration jobs. Any suggestions on what the problem is or a solution or even a place to check what is going on?

It should create 100s of Inventory jobs per day. Default Inventory Polling is every 12hours. You can change this value to a larger number from Devices->Discover->Inventory->Polling

Thanks, I have been looking at that issue. I have my inventory set for once every 24 hours at 19:00. From Friday 5:00pm to Monday 9:00am it posted 3500+ Run Inventory Now jobs.

The problem has apparently stopped for now. I have not had seen a Run Now Inventory for 12 hours. The database indicates the last JOBID was 209631. I am still not sure what coused over 100000 jobs to run.
