WLSE-WDS AP supports IAS ?

Hi,

I'm using an IAS server as my authentication server.I have also an WLSE 2.9, i have configured an AP to be WDS , following the config guide.

WDS information state is ACTIVE but in wds registration i can't see this AP registed.

In wireless network information i see Not authenticated

In config guide it says to enable LEAP in ACS, but in IAS is that suported????

Workaround:

Do you think that its possible to config a local AP radius server with priority 2 in server groups only for AP wds and AP infrastructure registration ,and all wireless clients will registering will use IAS priority 1 server ?

Actually on your WDS device you can create two groups, one for Infrastructure authentication and one for client authentication. Configure a local radius server and then configure it in your authentication server list. Then in the WDS configuration area, setup the infrastructure group to use your local RADIUS server and the client group to use your IAS server. Should work like a champ.
