I don't want to misuse a Cisco hosted forum, but WMUX makes excellent equipment. Be sure that you know the Path Loss for your link and use appropriate antennas. An experienced WMUX reseller will be able to give you an uptime% figure for your distance/antenna/config.
For applications that require Full-Duplex links or Data Rates higher than 8Mbps (actual throughput), 802.11b won't work.
Cisco's 802.11a gear will address the speed issue, though it will still be Half-Duplex. 802.11a also has even tougher distance limits than .11b.
