Hi all.
I have one question, how can activate license for CGN in CRS-3.
I testing whit this command.
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:(admin-config)#license XC-XLAT44-5M location 0/3/CPU0
In linecard 0/3/CPU0 is my CGN NAT, after of config RP/0/RP0/CPU0:(admin-config)#license XC-XLAT44-5M location 0/3/CPU0

Hello Ruben,
Is the CGN NAT configured and running already? License will be allocated and active once the feature is configured and running. Not sure with CGN NAT, but should be the same behavior I think.

rivalino

Hi Rivalino, I test with you say, but no see change in show.

At present, CGN s/w does not grab the license.
As long as you've installed the license, you're fine.

Hi Ruben,
You should not have any issue in production related to CGN/CGv6 license (CLI may not show the status correctly because of the reason I indicated earlier).
regards,
Somnath.

Hi Ruben,
CGN licenses will not be shown as active for now. So, you can ignore the license state for now as long as you've installed the required licenses. It should not cause any issue on traffic.
regards,
Somnath.
