ASR 9000 BNG linecard support

Dear all,

Our customer want to deploy Bras on ASR 9000 device. We want to propose them the A9K-24X10GE-1G-SE linecards for service termination. Does anyone help to clarify this linecard support Bras function or not?

Yes. A9K-24X10GE-1G-SE linecard are of 3rd generation (aka Tomahawk). Subscriber termination is supported on them. We suggest using the IOS XR release 6.4.2.

But i have a little bit worry because the configuration guide does not mension this linecard for BNG support:

hi Lam,

thanks for drawing our attention to this bug in documentation. BNG is supported on A9K-24X10GE-1G-SE and A9K-48X10GE-1G-SE line cards since IOS XR release 6.2. We'll update the configuration guide.
