Good day,

Can You help with this ?

Our ASR 9006 shows this message sc_reddrv[386]: %PLATFORM-REDDRV-7-ROLE_CHANGE : Detected role change to ACTIVE state due to mastership release.

What is the reason and how can we solve this? Thank You

This message basically indicates that there was a switchover of some kind. Show redundancy should give us more detail as to why.

Thanks,

Sam

Is the info provided is enough?

How long ago was this error message?

There have been no switchovers or reboots in several weeks.
