ASR9000 ISM ServiceInfra interface

Hello all!

I am trying to set up nat44 on ASR9000 ISM card.

I can't understand appointment of ServiceInfra interface.

Guide says this:

This is used for the management plane and is required to bring up ISM. This is of local significance within the chassis.

I.e. IP address that must be assigned to this interface may be any and it is not used in further configuration. Right?

Hi Andrew,

That is true. This interface should not receive any data traffic either (i.e., it should not be in any route shared by routing protocols).
