ASR9k 5.3.2 cinetd[170]: ret -1 errno 10 child->pid =1264931223 status 1 error occured on waitpid logs

Hi guys.

I upgraded our ASR9k with BNG functions from 5.1.3 til 5.3.2.. Some unknown logs were appeared:

RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:Dec 17 15:43:11.688 FET: cinetd[170]: ret -1 errno 10 child->pid =1264931223 status 1 error occured on waitpid

Do you know what does it mean?

Hello Yuliya,

I believe this may be due to a hung process. the commands below have been referenced in similar instances to provide more information. I would recommend opening a TAC case if you are looking for root cause.

show cinetd services
show cinetd trace
