I have an ASR9K with IOS XR 6.1.2 with one satellite (ASR9000v). Between them there is a bundle with 2 interfaces. One interface in slot 0, and one interface in slot 7 for redundancy purposes. The A9K-NVSAT1-LIC was succesfully added to the chassis but if you issue the command show licenses it does not report the license as operational.
If you look at the output of the command show licenses, it states "FeatureID: A9K-NVSAT1-LIC (Slot based, Permanent)"
Does it mean that if I want to have the configuration described above, should I use two licenses?
How can I make the license active? In the configuration guide it says that "For release 4.3.1 and later, no configuration is needed – you may safely skip this requirement." when it describes the process for "Configure license feature ID to bind to a location or all locations. "
