With the size of the IOS XR images getting larger, and with the way SW upgrades take place in IOS XR architecturally, it is recommended not to use the FPD auto-upgrade as noted in the upgrade doc's. These issues are being addressed and will be resolved in forthcoming IOS XR versions. Please follow the upgrade documentation for the time being.
