In a ASR 9002, I'm having trouble getting a 25GB DAC cable to come up in a 10/25GB port. It's connected, no shut. The cable shows in inventory but will not come up in any 10/25GB port. I've test the cable from the distant end device into other devices and it works. I'm wondering of there is a command to force the port to go to 25GB, similar to a speed-duplex command.

That optic doesn't show up as supported. I filtered by sfp28 and 9902.

I should amend my prior statement, I have seen the tmg matrix be wrong before. In any case you need to configure the ports to be 25ge or 10ge. I have attached some training slides on how to configure this, the command that shows the valid config values is show controller np valid-port-groups all.

These ports can be either 10 or 25GB on an ASR9002.

Show module isn't a valid command in this IOS. Here is a show inventory on the port thought (I moved it into port 40 from my original question it was in 41).

I was able to get the ports to show as 25GB by configuring port groups. The optics still won't connect, but I imagine that's because they aren't supported like you mentioned. Thanks for your help!
