Whilst deploying Inter-AS VPN option C design with BGP ipv4 + Labels between to Autonomous Systems with ASR 9000 IOS-XR Devices i have the following queries
- It is known that in XR the directly connected host routes of the eBGP ASBR neighbor is not learnt automatically, hence a static host route towards the directly connected eBGP Neighbor interface for label assignment on the local ASBR is needed. Do we have to redistribute this static route into the local Autonomous System IGP as well for label assignment ?
- Since the RR of each domain will disseminate control-plane information of the Prefixes learnt from the neighboring Autonomous System RR, Is there a way to control the prefixes advertised OR received TO/FROM the neighboring AS RR via Route-Policy to Match Specific Prefixes AND RT Values in the Boolean expression on the RR? An configuration example would be great.
