I know in IOS XRv L2VPN only supports control plane but not the data plane. I just want to get clarification, why l2vpn not supported on IOS XRv and why the relase note of IOS XRv 6.2.25 does not gave any information about L2VPN (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/virtual-routers/xrv9k-62x/general/release/notes/b-release-notes-xrv9000-6225.html). Is their any possibility that future IOS XRv release supports L2VPN?
Thanks in advance...

XRv and XRv9000 are different virtual router platforms. The former only has the control-plane, while the latter has both the control-plane and data-plane. XRv will never support L2VPN. Support for L2VPN on XRv9000 will come in phases. For the exact roadmap, it would be best if you reached out to your account team at Cisco.

Hi Magesh,
Seems like it's supported although I haven't tested it yet. XRv9000 is resource consuming, minimum of 16GB to run 1 xrv9000 :)

Chris
