Hello

looks like bug CSCud14443.

%ISSU-0-SOFTWARE_INVALID" errors may be seen when installing a new image in sub-package mode. The errors may reference the RP or SIP.

Conditions:

This will be seen after the device is booted into sub-package mode and the package files are either deleted or overwritten by the expansion of another image. This is expected behavior.

Workaround:

The message has no functional impact. Upgrading the box using the new 'packages.conf' file with the new image/sub-packages should resolve the errors.

you're seeing this on XR? there was a case on this before for some IOS devices that some old files are left in a few expansion directories. you could delete those to eliminate this problem.

the message is harmless.

Some detail here:

Expected behaviour. This is seen when user after booting the set-up in sub-package mode, either deletes the .pkg files or overwrites the same by expansion of some other image.

To avoid this, user must re-boot the system once from some other source and then only delete/over-write the earlier mentioned .pkg files.
