Hello,
I'm quite old ios-xr user. But still i'm not sure if my thinking is correct. Is it true that line default also activates the same configuration for console even if line console is not configured ?
For example i'm using this command to ensure that local users are only working if radius is down:
aaa authorization exec AUTH_VTY group RADIUS_GROUP local
aaa authentication login VTY group RADIUS_GROUP local
!
line default
authorization exec AUTH_VTY
login authentication VTY
!
So, do i understand correctly that if i will not configure line console, it will inherit the configuration from line default ? Or should i define line console explicitly to configure same access behaviour - first radius, and only then local.
Thank you !

thank you, i already checked that post, i need someone's confirmation if it differs or not. Because in the practice line default configuration seems like to applies on console line, without using line console.
