Mac-address in l2vpn in ASR 9k

Hi All,

I am trying to find out the mac address which are getting learned through l2vpn configured. Its a point to multipoint configuration. When I try to ran the below command, it asked for location but I am not sure in which location BVI's are defined:

show l2vpn forwarding bridge-domain <name>:<bridge-domain name> mac-address location ?

and when I checked for all location by putting it one by one, somehow it gave me the mac's but it took ages to get the output. How much time does it normally takes?

Hi Anuj,

This is correct command to check MAC learning within Bridge Domain. FOr location you need to insert LC which host attachment circuits (AC) or COre MPLS interfaces through which your PW will go.

In earlier versions of code this command was syncing with LC HW and it took a time indeed. In later code sync was done upfront so it became faster.
