Hello,
Could anybody give me the maximum number of MAC addresses supported on the ASR 9000?
Thanks

I don't think there is a maximum.

Hello Benoit,
in some layer2 transport services like EoMPLS MAC address learning is disabled so it is unlike that you will put the ASR 9000 (not a multilayer switch) under pressure for the number of MAC addresses to be handled
Hope to help

with the current hardware that is 512k MAC addresses.
this is system wide. All these macs can be on a single linecard or even a port and or spread over multiple
linecards/ports.
next generation hardware coming out the end of this year will go much further.
