Now have to get my head around Multicast on IOS-XR over MPLS using L3VPN's.
Can someone confirm if IOS-XR NG multicast is the same as RFC6513 etc, where BGP is used to carry the PIM messages across the SP core?
I'm trying to tie up this information from different publications, and the terminology isn’t consistent. I'm reading up on this in the excellent book `MPLS enabled applications'.
The code I'm using is 4.3.0, does this support either LDP or RSVP-TE for user multicast traffic?
