Hello,
We are working on a lab deployment of SRv6 across two ASR9001 platforms running 6.6.3 software. We are using IS-IS as our IGP so we will be pushing the locator prefixes across the devices using that. I was following the cisco segment routing configuration guide for 6.6.X found here (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/asr9000/software/asr9k-r6-6/segment-routing/configuration/guide/b-segment-routing-cg-asr9000-66x/b-segment-routing-cg-asr9000-66x_chapter_011.html#id_94209). After following the guide the SRv6 manager shows the locator as operational, and SRv6 is enabled. Looking under the IS-IS protocol information it shows the SRv6 locator as Active as well.
The issue is we are not seeing any SIDs from the other routers showing up in the segment-routing sid list. We are also seeing this error message showing up in the log %ROUTING-FIB-5-ROUTE_UPDATE_DROP : FIB dropping route update: fib_ip_route_modify: Dropped SRv6 update XXXX:XXXX:X:YY:1::/128 VRF default Table-Id 0xe0800000: 'FIB' detected the 'warning' condition 'Unsupported operation'

New SRv6 configs starting in 6.6.1 do not support typhoon based LCs (that includes 9001).

Thank you for the information. I was not aware that SRv6 was not supported on the Typhoon based LCs.

Hello Sam,
how about ios xr 6.8.2, are there possibilities in a support of this feature on the 9001 platform?

The issue is not that we forgot to include the 9001 / typhoon based systems, the issue is that the np microcode doesn't have enough space to store all the new features. As well typhoon is going EoL shortly and has been out for over a decade. We can only fit so many features in the microcode. If you like the form-factor of the 9001 then I suggest looking at the 9901.
