xrv9k can be startup, but the Gi0/0/0/0 interface of the router is not functioning properly and cannot connect to the external network.

Hi @taoza ,

How much ressource did you configure for each instances?

According to the PnetLab website, you need the following:

  • Cisco XRvK9 6.x.x (require source of 4xCPU and 16G RAM for single node)

Can you please do a "show platform vm" on one of the two instances and provide the output.

@Harold Ritter Thank you so much for your help.  I used the VMplayer to run the Pnetlab VM in a windows 10 Laptop PC.

I gave 24G RAM and 12 cpu cores, is it a right configuration for pnetlab to run Cisco xrvk9 7.11.1? My ios xr software version is 7.11.1.

Here is the "show platform vm" command running output:

-------

RP/0/RP0/CPU0:r1-pnet#sh platform vm

Sun Feb 16 21:28:42.618 UTC

Node name       Node type       Partner name    SW status       IP address

--------------- --------------- --------------- --------------- ---------------

0/RP0/CPU0      RP (ACTIVE)     NONE            FINAL Band      192.0.0.4

0/0/CPU0        LC (ACTIVE)     NONE            FINAL Band      192.0.0.6

RP/0/RP0/CPU0:r1-pnet#

The mgmt interface is working very well, but the GigabitEthernet0/0/0/0 and Gi0/0/0/1 can't communicate to other Cisco Routers, can't ping and can't get the MAC address of other interfaces.

Thanks again and best regards.
