Dear community
Can someone please explain me what is exactly counted in Inventory Summary field.
I have 42 Switches (CBS250-8T-D) but in the Inventory Summary i see 112 items - what counts as item ?

The total count of inventory = number of network devices(switch+router+AP) + number of endpoints.
In your case, the endpoints are the hosts. This may be the laptops, servers which connect to your switch.

if you look at the inventory it will show you dertails command level :
show inventory
