The Cisco Support Community team once again had a presence at Cisco Live London. What a great event for us to meet our community members!
My week began on a cold Saturday evening at Chicago O’Hare airport. I arrived Sunday morning bright and early at 5am. Caught a couple hours of zzzz’s but didn’t let myself sleep any longer to avoid jet-lag. Had a little time on my hands so did some walking and found myself at Buckingham Palace. No time for a tour but managed to snap a few pics.

Monday was spent ensuring our booths were ready for the start of the show on Tuesday. On Monday evening I had the privilege to meet three of the five VIPs (Peter, Aaron, Ayodeji) for dinner we sponsored at Cisco Live London. It was great for us to connect face-to-face and allow them to meet their fellow VIPs who they have gotten to know through the Cisco Support Community.

The exhibition opened Tuesday evening with a Welcome Reception that included food and beverages for all the attendees. We talked with numerous Cisco enthusiasts about CSC and gathered feedback on how to improve the site. I also had the opportunity to meet with Martin and Jouni the other two VIPs who were unable to attend the dinner.

Wednesday evening was the CCIE party at the OXO Tower London. It was great chatting with the CCIEs in attendance including our very own VIP Peter. The great food and views topped it all off.

The exhibition closed on Thursday. As is customary at Cisco Live’s, the customer appreciation event closed the action packed week. It was a Beach theme that included a variety of bands. Unfortunately, I was unable to stay for the entire show due to my early flight back to the US. Does it surprise anyone that my flight ended up being delayed and I didn’t make it out until the afternoon?

I want to thank all the Cisco Support Community enthusiasts and our VIPs who attended Cisco Live London 2013. We enjoy talking to you and gathering feedback about CSC so we can continue to provide you a great experience.
Cheers,
Dan
