Application Experience (Latency, Jitter, Packet Loss) in C9000 Switche

Hallo Catalyst Center Team

I have some very important questions :

With DNA Assurance, we can Application Visibility and Application Experience.

Application Visibility refers to getting Information about Application Name and Throughput, and Application Experience refers to getting data about Latency, Jitter and Packet Loss.

I would like to ask you about some key points.
In Catalyst Center, we cannot get Application Experience data if we have Cisco Cat9000 Switches deployed.
We can only get Application Visibility Data which is App-Names and throughput.

My Questions are:

     - Why can we not get Application Experience Data in Catalyst Center if we have C9000 Switches in Deployment.

     - Why is it only with Cisco IOS XE Router.

     - Is there any way we could enable App Experience on C9000 Switches???

     - If not, are you planning to add this feature in future??? There are a lot of deployments with C9000 Switches and Application Experience has to be enabled but cannot be.
     - What are the technical details for this?

Thank you for your answer.
A.

It isn't supported just on the routers, it's also supported on 9800s as well.

The reason why it is not supported on the 9k switches is because the switches are not able to collect the KPIs required for application experience to work. I don't know if this is intended to change in the future or not.

@maflesch Thank you for your answer.
Could you please provide me more technical details? The switches are not able to collect KPIs, if not why?
Is it due to the Hardware or IOS version?  I would appreciate more details in this regard.
Thank you,
A.

@Preston Chilcote Please answer to this question. As this question is being asked many times by the engineers who have DNA center in deployment and they want to take advantage of DNA assurance.

Thank you.

@ahmedaburaihan  There are significant internal architecture differences between routers and catalyst switches.   As Matt said, currently the catalyst switches don't collect data for latency, jitter, and delay.  To have a chance to get this added to the product in the future, the best thing to do is (for everyone reading this) to submit a Make a Wish in their Catalyst Center GUI (in the about menu) to request it.
