Hi,
Customer want to buy around 28 Cisco Catalyst Switches with Cisco DNA Essentials license.
My question is: If we want to install Cisco Catalyst management Center and add all of those 28 switches into Management center and use virtual appliance do we need to buy License for virtual appliance or we can use some free permanent license with limited features?
Best regards,
Josip

If the device provision and SWIM and Assurance (you can use DNAC for this to manage)
some of them may need advantage License you can look the datasheet of the features.

I think jozi.miletic@gmail.com is asking about the licensing of the virtual appliance itself. There is a license that I believe is free that covers virtual appliances:

Hi all,
thanks for info.
Anyway, I didn't find solution here to have Virtual Cisco Catalyst Management Center appliance for free.
If there is any free permanent Virtual Appliance to install with limited features it would be nice start, just to let customer know about possibilities and advantages it has?
Best regards
J

DNAC has a $0 license part DN-SW-APL-LIC, The DN-SW-APL-LIC license will be deposited into the customer’s Cisco Smart Account when purchasing a new Cisco DNA Center Virtual Appliance.
However when purchasing VM (DN-SW-APL) you will typically pay for solution support with software support from 1-60 months, depending on your requirement.
your Cisco Account manager or Partner may be able to workout a deal and make it available at no cost to you depending on your current and future plans, so talk to them.

Hi,
Thanks.
There is one more question regarding of the installation.
I have started installation of Virtual appliance locally for testing purpose and have problem with opening web page.
Tried "Open Cisco Catalyst Center Virtual Appliance", but page not loading.
Shared pictures.
I have add 128Gb of memory, 32Gb of CPU and 1Tb of disk.
I know requirements are not satisfied but currently I'm limited.
Can it be reason for non availability of web page.
Best regards,
Josip

Don't try to install without meeting the requirements. It's untested and unsupported and you'll just be frustrating yourself for no reason, if not during initial install, then possibly down the road.
