Hello,

we have 1 or 2 entrys on the switch:

- username xxx privilege 15 secret ....

how can i delete this user via Gui Catalyst Center??
Under User & Management Role i see only my Super-Admin role user.

Do I have to delete the user via the GUI or can I delete the user via the CLI like in the legacy network?

I know this is a simple question, but unfortunately I haven't found the answer.

thank you in advance for your help

regards
Salvatore

The only way to do this via the GUI of Catalyst Center would be to create a Day-N template and then provision the device. If you don't want to do that, the best way would be to just remove the user from the CLI of the device(s).

Yeah, great.
There are only a handful of switches where I need to remove one or two users.
The CLI is the quickest way to do this.

Do I need to do anything else in the Catalyst Center? Or does it not matter if I delete the users via the CLI?

If the user does not exist in the GUI, then yes just delete them via the CLI. If the user exists in the GUI, make sure that the devices are not using that user for Catalyst Center management. If they are, change the user to something that you are using, then delete from the CLI.

Okay, I see.
But that was my first problem: Where should I find the users in the GUI?
Where should I find them in the Catalyst Center?

Thanks again in advance for your help.

They would be under device credentials tab in the network settings.
