ISR 1121-4P compatibility with DNA centre or catalyst centre

Hi All,

we have ordered 1121-4P with DNA essentials licenses and now we are not able to add it to DNA centre for assurance and SWIM. we are able to add it for PNP.

when discussed with TAC they are suggesting this model catalyst 1121-4P does not support DNA license and can not be added to DNA centre.

when i checked with DNA centre compatibility matrix, it says supported for assurance and SWIM.

have anyone faced similar problems and what is the resolution,please suggest.

Please confirm are you referring here ISR routers or Catalyst 1K Switch.

this is for C1121-4P routers.

C1121-4p are still not supported on 2.3.5.5, only C1121 and C1121X

Did TAC mention that there is an enhancement bug to rectify the discrepancy between the published compatibility matrix and what DNA uses internally?

CSCwi43957 - C1121-4p routers shows as unsupported in Cisco DNA Center

You can ask TAC to follow up with the engineer working on it for an estimated time for the fix.

what do you mean by enhancement bug? will it not be limited to certain releases for DNAC or IOS-XE.

This is fyi to all who might be looking into same situation, C1121-4P is supported now in DNAC ver. 2.3.7.5 and 2.3.7.6 though these versions are not recommended for deployment by Cisco
