Does anyone know any good books for administrating Cisco IM&P besides the basic Cisco doc?

No, there are no books for Cisco IM&P in-specific except for the fundamentals

I am a CUCM engineer that inherited a IM&P server. I know very little about the whole thing and I was looking for ways to get up to speed. The cisco docs are fine for keeping things running but the how and why of new features is what I was looking for. For example, Jabber mobile, there seems to be almost nothing on it then the dry set up docs.

There were a couple of videos that came out with Jabber 10.6 in Cisco communities website

They had all details on how to configure IM&P with all feature details and explanations
