Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue where a user cannot send screen captures or transfer files using Jabber. If I login to Jabber as that user on my computer then we are able to send captures and transfer files successfully. Alternatively, if I login to Jabber as myself on the user's computer I'm unable to send/transfer. This leads me to believe it is something to do with Jabber software on the user's computer. I tired to un-install and re-install Jabber to no avail. We both run the same version 9.6.1 Build 18100 and is Windows version
Has anyone found a fix for this?

I'd suspect on something installed on the machine, or problems with FW, antivirus, etc.

Hi, this forum is for the Cisco Jabber Guest product. You should post your issue with Jabber for Windows or Jabber for Mac up one level in the Jabber Clients forum. You might note also weather your using Jabber for Windows or Jabber for Mac.

Jabber uses the following port number for file transfer and screen captures;
here is link that may give more details;
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/Windows/9_7/JABW_BK_C4C679C9_00_cisco-jabber-for-windows-97/JABW_BK_C4C679C9_00_cisco-jabber-for-windows-97_chapter_01.html#CJAB_RF_P3DE6354_00
Please see if this port is blocked for some reason
37200 | SOCKS5 Bytestreams | Peer to peer file transfers. In on-premises deployments, the client also uses this port to send screen captures. |
