We recently rolled out the Jabber client to our entire enterprise a few weeks ago with few problems. However, we are receiving reports that a few individuals cannot forward calls to VM or other numbers. Upon investigating these installations, the "Forwards Calls To" option in the bottom right of the Jabber client is greyed out.
What these people seem to have in common is each has a second line (shared across multiple phones) on their phone. If I remove the second line, they are able to then select the "Forward Calls to" option on the Jabber client.
It appears as if Jabber is trying to forward calls on all lines but does not have the access to do this on the shared line. Has anyone experienced this before?
Jabber Client v.9.0.1 Build 8802
Thanks!

Hi Joe,
One of our engineers is going to do some investigation in this area today. Looks like the use case that is causing you trouble is a Jabber user who has multiple lines, which results in forward calls being greyed out.
We'll get back to you later on.
Thanks,
Derek

Hi Joe,
Our engineers had a look at your use case and have indeed found as issue with call forward when muliptle DN's are configured.
We raised the below case to track the issue. I'm not sure of the timeline for a fix but we try and generate a maintenance release (MR) every month with minor fixes.
The end of June MR is pretty much done and dusted, with end of July a potential release vehicle.
Will know more in the coming week to the date.
If you did need to increase the priority of this issue, you could go thru the standard Cisco support channel (TAC) route. This visibility could help prioritise the issue.

Thanks,
Derek
