Hi,
I have CUCM 8.6.2.21900-5 and Presence 8.6.4 and I have install Cisco Jabber for Windows ( CiscoJabber-Install-ffr.9-0-1.zip ) in 4 PCs .
We can place Point to Point Video Call but can't place Multiparty Video Call,
When we add 3rd party in Point to Point Video Call that time conference call automatically converts into Audio Call only.
Regards,
Shashank

Do you have a video MCU or an ISR G2 with PVDMv3 DSPs with video conferencing resources defined in your MRG and MRGL that are assigned to the device pool that your Jabber devices are assigned to?

We dont have any external video MCU or an ISR G2 with PVDMv3.
Is it required for multiparty video call ?
Can we configure CUCM to do multiparty video without MCU or ISR ?

Without an ISR or an MCU or some sort of a bridging service, the answer is no.

Hi Michael,
I do have an ISR G2 router with pvdm3 configured as homogeneous.
I verified that the DSPs are being used when
I try to do the video conferencing, however
I cannot videoconference 3 devices.
Please note the the videoconference works
With my 9971 phones.
I'm using codec h264 cif-30-740.
Do you suspect a codec issue for jabber?

What is the current official position on this?
I am interested in positioning Jabber for Windows Clients forming Video teleconferences using only PVDM3s on ISR-G2's.
From what I have read, it looks like this is supported.
I also find some inconsistent documentation about 'lecture mode', where one doc says its supported, but the other says its not. Are we limited to only active speaker via CUCM control? What are the rules on content sharing inside a video conference?

No BFCP screen sharing support for PVDM3.
Active speaker presentation.
Add the resource the UCM just like an Xcode or conf bridge.

Were you able to figure this out? I've yet to find any documentation officially noting support for Jabber on the PVDM3's, but it "sounds" like it should work OK via MRGL.

Am experiencing the same issue; I can make point-to-point video calls on Jabber but having issues making video conference calls even after I configured video conference bridge via an ISR router and also have an MCU set-up as well.
Any ideas on what to check next?

I even created a separate profile for 720p video which jabber uses as shown below, but still no go.
Has anyone been able to get Jabber for windows video conference working?
dspfarm profile 2 conference video homogeneous
codec g711ulaw
codec g711alaw
codec g729ar8
codec g729abr8
codec g729r8
codec g729br8
codec h264 720p frame-rate 30 bitrate 2mbps
maximum conference-participants 8
maximum sessions 4
associate application SCCP

Hi,
Are there any config example?
I have a MCU and I want to integrate Jabber and MCU for Multiparty Video Call.
Thanks

I have the same problem for making multi party video call using CUCM 7.1.5, Meeting Place 8.6 as conference bridge and cisco Jabber 9.2.3.
Point to point video is ok but when the third party is added it becomes a audio call. Any suggestions Please??
Thank you.
