I'm attempting to install Cisco Jabber on a Windows 7 SP1 32-bit virtual machine. I'm prepping the machine to be cloned using VMware View Agent v5.3.0.1427931. This happens with both Jabber v9.6.1 and v9.7.0.
The installation starts normally, starts copying files, places the desktop shortcut and then a Windows Installer box opens with "Preparing to install...". And then nothing else happens. I can use task manager to end the installation.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Nick

Did you figure this out? I am having the same problem.

Nope. No resolution yet. Tried opening a ticket with support. Still nothing.
This is very frustrating.

Hi all, we're experiencing the same issue while deploying cisco jabber 9.6.1
It seems related with this dll registration: CUCMessenger.dll
Trying to manually regsiter it lunching this command:
regsvr32 "C:\Programmi\Cisco Systems\Cisco Jabber\CUCMessenger.dll
everything seems to go fine.
Any news from the tac support?
thanks BR
