Cisco Jabber OpenLDAP Directory Search - Attribute mapping

Hello,

I would like to add an OpenLDAP server as a directory. In principle, this is already possible. But it looks for attribute-names that are only in an MS AD server and have a different names in an OpenLDAP.

For example, the attribute street is called 'street' in OpenLDAP and 'streetAddress' in ActiveDirectory.

Therefore, among other things, the 'street' is missing in the Jabber search result. Can i change the attribute mapping?

Yes. You can modify the attribute mapping through Jabber's extensive configuration parameters. Depending on CUCM version this is either an XML file you build manually and upload to TFTP or, in newer releases, a UC Service & Profile configured in the CUCM admin GUI.
