Cisco Webex Teams OBTP for on-premise, cloud-linked devices

We are piloting Webex Teams in our organization, and currently have CUCM 11.5. We have configured all the hybrid connectors for calling, calendar, etc. and they all work great. All room devices are registered on-premise to CUCM. As a test, we have cloud-registered one device to trial the OBTP and calendar functionality, which is working great.

In January, a new feature was released that would allow you to "cloud-link" on-premise devices, in order to take advantage of OBTP for on-premise devices. We configured a few devices this way and it mostly works except that when a user joins a meeting using OBTP, they are joined as a guest, and are told they need to wait to be admitted. With the cloud-registered device, users are admitted directly into the meeting.

Has anyone else experienced this or know if there is a solution?

How are the certificates setup on your Expressway? And in Control Hub, do you have the domains verified / claimed.
While the calendaring features should work, I believe you need the exact domain in the cert to authenticate properly. Without that, Webex likely just doesn't have trust of the device.
