When I dial within my organization using the outside dialing prefix, my CP-8945 displays the destination phone number 3 times.   The phone I'm dialing also see's the originating number 3 times.   Any suggestions on what would cause this to happen?  I can call a number outside of my organization and it's only displayed once.  I can also call internally using the 4 digit number and it also shows just once.

Hi,

It probably means that you are using Translation Patterns to manipulate the destination number and it displays the Alerting Name of both Calling and Called number  as numbers only.

Can you please send a shot of what you see on the phone?

Thanks

And this is only calling internal using the 91 prefix

Hi

What is the value of Alerting Name on directory number configuration of both calling an called phones?

Please let me know.

The alerting name on both phones is the users name

This is happening because dialing your organization using public DDI hits Outgoing Route patterns and calling party transform mask. Than The call goes to the VG/CUBE where you probably translate calling/called number.

Please use DNA to simulate a call from internal extension to another one using public number and look at the behavior.

You can access DNA going to the following URL: https://<CUCMIP>/dna

Please let me know

Hi,

Please call the extension using 71xxxx3203 without 9 and see the behavior.

Also go on your VG and activate a debug ccsip message and dial again the same number with 9 and please post the output.

Thanks

Regards

Carlo
