Having trouble getting mobile iPhone Jabber to register with CUCM through Expressway

One of our users has Cisco Jabber for iPhone installed on her iPhone, and her iPhone is not registering with CUCM through Expressway. Another user with an iPhone is able to get her Jabber to register with the same CUCM instance through the same Expressway-E and Expressway-C servers, and we are able to get Cisco Jabber for Windows and Cisco Jabber for Android clients working with the same CUCM, Expressway-C, and Expressway-E servers.

The user who is having issues with Cisco Jabber for iPhone not registering is able to sign into Cisco Jabber on her iPhone. What do I need to adjust on the Cisco Jabber for iPhone settings to get her Jabber to register with CUCM through Expressway?

Hi there

Could you post the logs generate by the jabber client. Also couple of things to check

  1. Verify the iphone can reach UCM. Connect to CM Admin portal from the phone browser
  2. Make sure your DNS can resolve the hostnames of UCM and TFTPs
  3. Make sure you have enough licenses

there was an old thread with almost the same issue. The user changed the time automatic in the phone and succeed.

Hope this helps!

Cheers
Rath!
